Administrator of Haven Homes: Katie began working at Haven Homes in January of 2019.  She has been with Cassia since 2010 and transitioned to Haven Homes from our Buffalo nursing facility.  Katie obtained her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, chickens and two dogs!  Katie feels that Haven Homes is an “amazing place with caring staff and wonderful residents.  When you are here you feel as though everyone is a part of your family and you are home!“ Katie can be contacted by email at [email protected]

Heidis PicDirector of Nursing – Heidi LaFave

Heidi started her health career as a Nursing Assistant at the age of 15 with an Elim facility. She continued her education by obtaining her LPN and RN from Ridgewater College. Heidi started at Haven Homes in March of 2015 as a night shift nurse and became the Director of Nursing in July 2016.  Heidi believes that developing meaningful relationships with the residents and their families builds trust and provides comfort.  In her free time she can be found spending time enjoying time with her family.  Heidi can be contacted by email at [email protected]

Director of Social Services – Cindi Hager, LSW

Cindi began working at Haven Homes in October 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Cindi feels blessed to be a part of the Haven Homes team and values the relationships built with the residents and families of Haven Homes. KatelynQuality of Living Specialist – Katelyn Roiland

Katelyn began working at Haven Homes in April of 2016. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family with a Minor in Disability Services and a  Specialization in Gerontology. Katelyn says, “Since high school, I’ve felt that it’s my calling to serve the aging population, and I’m very passionate about it.” Katelyn is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve our residents as our Quality in Living Specialist for ResoLute, a grant geared towards improving the aging process. Nurse Manager/MDS Coordinator – Lisa VanOuse, RN

Lisa started working at Haven Homes in March of 2020.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Herzing University.  Lisa enjoys helping others, putting a smile on their faces and making a difference in their lives.  When Lisa is not working, you will find her at home on the lake with her husband of 13 years and their three yorkie-poo dogs; they are either spending time on the lake or maintaining all the flowers in their yard.  Lisa can be contacted by email at [email protected].

Chaplain – Greg Loomis

Pastor Greg Loomis has been an Evangelical Free Church pastor since 1992. He has served in three churches, all in the metro Minneapolis area. Greg was a chaplain at Elim Watertown from 2003-2006 and began at Haven Homes in December of 2019. He is energized by helping meet the spiritual needs of our residents, their families and our staff. Jordans PictureTherapeutic Recreation Director & Volunteer Coordinator – Jordan Schilling

Jordan started working at Haven Homes in December of 2017. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure, Planning and Management at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Creating fun, meaningful activities and events for seniors to improve their quality of life has always been her passion. Jordan lives by the quote, “Of all the things you wear, your smile is most important” and loves to spread smiles through Haven Homes every day. When she’s not at work you’ll find her playing with her dog Stella, spending time with friends and family, playing sand volleyball and riding horses or barrel racing! Housekeeping Supervisor – Natalie Terwey

Natalie Terwey: Natalie Terwey has been the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor since 2015.  She has been named the Safety Committee Chair as of March 2019 and has dedicated a lot of work to improving the safety for our employees and residents.  Natalie enjoys the environment at Haven Homes, loves being able to help others and make a difference in the lives of people around her.  Natalie can be contacted by email at [email protected]


Environmental Supervisor – Scott Gosewisch

Scott has been an employee at Haven Homes for many years. He started working here in 1979 in the Activity Department, from there he moved into the Maintenance Department in 1980. Payroll & Benefits Coordinator – Karly Jo Youngs

Karly Jo started working for Cassia in 2019 and transferred to Haven Homes in July of 2020. Karly Jo started her career in healthcare after graduating from St. Catherine University as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2017. She transitioned into business in 2019 to learn different roles in healthcare. In her free time, she loves to go hiking, fishing, spend time with her husband, family, and two dogs. Karly Jo comes to Haven Homes with excitement and passion to form relationships with residents, families and staff and assist residents in maintaining dignity and quality of life.
